Use this link below to subscribe or unsubscribe
to the REGULAR mailing list. The List will respond by sending you a confirmation message of your subscription or unsubscription.

  To Subscribe or Unsubscribe
to the Woodcarver Mailing List,
simply go to:
http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/woodcarver

Type in your email address (the one you used to subscribe to the List) and the password for your subscription.

NOTE: The welcome message you received from the List when you first subscribed contains the initial password you used to confirm your subscription.

NOTE: It is possible to change your subscription settings so that you:
1. receive a Digest version of the messages rather than a lot of individual messages
2. your mail is on hold while you are on holidays.

To do so copy the following link and paste it into your web browser:

http://six.pairlist.net/mailman/options/woodcarver/your-email-address

Then replace the "your-email-address" part with your actual email address.

Please note that there is only one webpage for subscribing and unsubscribing.
If you cannot remember your subscription password, contact Bill Judt (list owner) and he will assit you.

Your email program has a menu option that opens a settings or preferences window. Be sure that the email address you typed into this preference window is correct, or your subscription will not succeed. This is because the List will email you a message asking you to reply to confirm your subscription request. You will NOT recieve the confirmation message if your email address is incorrect. Therefore you will NOT be able to confirm your subscription.

NOTES:

1. To send messages to the Woodcarver Mailing List (after you have subscribed), address them to:

woodcarver@six.pairlist.net

2. Many people access the mailing list from their workplace, where, for security reasons, they are assigned TWO email addresses, one for OUTGOING email and another for INCOMING email. When they subscribe to the mailing list from work they experience problems. Either they either cannot receive email from the list or cannot post messages to the list.

Check with your system administrator at work to make sure that you are using only ONE email address to interact with the mailing list.
